We'll help you find a way! The Dallas Hamilton Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership offers assistance with the following:

• improving business plans
• locating funding sources (including BGSU's New Venture Opportunity Fund)
• locating knowledge resources and business mentors
• feasibility studies for products or services
• identifying problems in a struggling business

Assistance is available to faculty, students, alumni, and the surrounding communities. Assistance efforts are coordinated through the Center administration, related BGSU faculty and students, and area business and development partners. Requests for assistance should include the following:

• full contact information for current owners or officers of the business or idea
• current business plan or 5 year plan, including:
  • overview of business
• detailed description of products or services
• detailed description of competing companies and their products or services
• current status/health of the company
• market analysis and sales forecasts
• any financial summaries you are able to provide
• description of company organizational structure (or intended structure)
• current plan to launch or improve business, including description of largest obstacles

Plans should be submitted to: rheilig@bgsu.edu. By accepting submitted requests for help, the Center agrees to not disclose the contents of the request. The Center may request additional information related to the request for assistance prior to acceptance or recommendations. If desired, a project specific NDA can be executed prior to submission.

While it is our intent to offer assistance to all individuals and organizations submitting requests, as a service to all involved, we will only offer assistance to those requests for which we have adequate resources to offer meaningful assistance.
