Dr. Andreas Nicolaou, professor of accounting has been selected as Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Accounting Information Systems (IJAIS). This journal is published by Elsevier Science and has a global reputation and circulation. It is indexed in major bibliographical databases including Scopus. IJAIS, which is published quarterly, is also the official journal of the SIG-ASYS (Accounting Systems) of the Association of Information Systems.

Dr. Nicolaou earned his Ph.D. in accounting information systems from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and, prior to joining the BGSU faculty in 2002, he was a tenured professor at the University of Piraeus in Greece.
