BGSU Named #11 in Nation for Undergraduate Teaching

A renowned publication for identifying the best schools in the country has placed Bowling Green State University at #11 for excellence in undergraduate education. The 2009-10 edition of U.S. News and World Report’s "America’s Best Colleges" cites the University for excellence in three undergraduate education categories—a strong commitment to teaching, first-year experience programs, and learning communities.
BGSU is ranked with such institutions as the University of Michigan, Howard, Princeton, Yale, and Stanford universities. The top 80 institutions were noted for their "unusual commitment to undergraduate teaching" and for “emphasizing that aspect of academic life.”
