Business Center of Excellence Approved by BGSU Trustees

BGSU has another Center of Excellence: the Center for Developing Effective Businesses and Organizations. This is an interdisciplinary program across several colleges: the College of Business Administration’s organization development and supply chain management (both in the management department), the Institute for Service Excellence (marketing), and the Dallas-Hamilton Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, as well as the College of Arts and Sciences’ industrial-organizational psychology program and the College of Education’s School for Leadership Studies.
The Board of Trustees approved the newest Center at its April meeting. The development of these Centers is a result of a directive from the State of Ohio to encourage higher education institutions to create collaborative Centers of Excellence.
