New Economics Professor Joins Business Faculty

A new face will be among the business faculty this fall. Dr. Zheng Zeng received her Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Zeng’s dissertation title was “Three Essays on Credit Frictions and Business Cycle Fluctuations.” She won the Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award in 2008.
Dr. Zeng also received an M.A. in Economics from SMU and a B.E. in Finance from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China. Her primary fields of research are macroeconomics, monetary economics, and time series econometrics. |

This fall, the new faculty member will be teaching two sections of ECON 3030, Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory.
