The latest faculty member to be recognized is Dr. Sung Bae, the Ashel G. Bryan/Huntington Bank Professor and finance professor. According to a study published this year, 'Most Prolific Authors in the Finance Literature: 1959-2008," Dr. Bae is listed in the top 3% of the most frequent appearing authors in 26 core finance journals. This is out of more than 17,000 finance authors! The study was conducted by Jean L. Heck and Philip L. Cooley.
Another well-known scholar in the College of Business, Dr. Timothy Fuerst, economics, is among the top 4% of cited authors by RePEc Author Services out of approximately 14,000 authors.
