Scotts’ Purchasing Executive Todd Moore, a 1988 BGSU alum, is working with Dr. Zsidisin’s class as they develop commodity analysis reports on urea and sunflowers and provide sourcing recommendations for these price volatile commodities. In mid-October the MGMT 4470 students will present their commodity price forecasting analyses and sourcing strategy recommendations to Scott’s Miracle-Gro.
The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company (NYSE: SMG) is the world's largest marketer of branded consumer lawn and garden products, with a full range of products for professional horticulture as well. Over the summer BGSU’s College of Business Administration began a partnership with Scotts to provide beneficial learning opportunities and job recruitment opportunities for business students. |
