Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Our Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree program develops broadly-educated business professionals who are prepared to think critically, to solve problems logically, and to be leaders in today’s business world. Students who work towards a BSBA degree will take general and core business courses and then will choose a specialization to focus their learning in the upper level courses.

Students complete one or more writing courses, at least through GSW1120, one or more mathematics courses, including calculus with a grade of C or higher, and the University BG Perspective program. Through BG Perspective, students select a minimum of eight courses in natural sciences, social and behavioral sciences, humanities and arts, and cultural diversity in the United States. An international perspectives course is required as part of the social and behavioral sciences or the humanities and arts category. All business students also complete BA 1500, an overview of business.

Students complete three applied business experience courses. These Senior Aplied Business Experience courses focus on experiencing learning with a focus on interaction and application of business knowledge.
Foundations in functional areas of business are expanded in the business core, and attention is given to international business and integration of functional areas to solve problems and make decisions. The business core culminates in a capstone course, BizX 4000. Course descriptions and degree information are available in the BGSU Undergraduate Catalog.
Specializations and Electives
Students in the BSBA program select one or more of the specializations in fields ranging from accounting to finance to supply chain management. Several specializations are specific to a discipline, such as finance or marketing, while others are interdisciplinary, such as international business.
Students also complete electives to reach a minimum of at least 122 credit hours.
