Exchange with AUDENCIA Nantes - Ecole de Management in France


Students from BGSU and other universities travel to Nantes, France, to participate in a summer program, while students from AUDENCIA Nantes attend BGSU during the academic year, joining BGSU business students in classes and activities.


Nantes is the site for the summer program in European business and is located two hours from Paris (by train). The program is designed to introduce students to Europe and the environment of European business, while gaining first-hand experience living in a foreign environment. Students spend five weeks in courses in Nantes and complete the program by spending several days visiting institutions of the European Union located in Brussels, Belgium.


The program in Nantes includes courses in European business and economic environments and the European Union. Students earn six credits at the undergraduate or graduate levels. All courses except optional French language courses are taught in English by international faculty. Students from several Ohio universities also participate in the program.

LIVING

Students live with selected French families in Nantes. Housing costs and seven meals per week are included in the program cost. Estimated cost is $2,500.  Hotel lodging in Brussels is included in the program cost, however students are responsible for travel to and from Brussels and two meals per day. 

TRAVEL IN EUROPE

In addition to a visit to Brussels, the program allows for three and a half days a week for personal travel. Students participate in classes in Nantes Monday through Thursday and are encouraged to arrange travel throughout France and other European countries, leaving Thursday afternoon and returning Sunday evening. Travel prior to or following the study program may also be arranged by the student.
