Education Abroad

Since today’s economy is much more globally based, it is valuable for business students to have knowledge about other countries, their cultures, and business environments. What better way to gain that knowledge than from first-hand experience. Our students have great choices for studying abroad.

Through our international programs, students can:

  • experience different cultures and business environments
  • improve foreign language skills
  • acquire perspectives in conducting international business.

By studying in other countries, students become more marketable to employers with the knowledge they gained.

BGSU’s College of Business Administration has opportunities for students to study in France and now China, one of the major emerging economies in the world.

Students will now have the opportunity to obtain assistance for their study abroad travel expenses, thanks to a College of Business Administration alum. Michael Hoskins (’77) has provided funds for the next three years that will help to defray travel costs. He is the Chief Technology Officer for Pervasive Software.
