Dr. Lord is Selected as Fulbright Scholar
The College of Business Administration is proud to announce that Dr. Alan Lord, professor of accounting, has been accepted in the Fulbright Scholar Program and will be teaching in Romania during the spring of 2009.
Dr. Lord, who is currently the Ernst & Young Professor of Accounting, has had previous teaching experience in other countries. He was a visiting professor for the Universite Robert Schuman Graduate School of Management in Strasbourg, France, and for the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, India.
Dr. Lord joined the BGSU faculty in 1995 as an associate professor. He was promoted to full professor in 2001. He earned his Ph.D. at Case Western Reserve University and is a Certified Public Accountant (Ohio) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor.
Scholarly contributions have been published in such publications as Accounting Organizations and Society, Journal of Accounting Literature, Behavioral Research in Accounting, and Auditing - A Journal of Practice and Theory.
Each year the Fulbright Scholar Program selects 800 faculty and professionals from across the U.S. to lecture and conduct important research abroad.
Dr. Lord joins four other College of Business Administration faculty members who are Fulbright scholars. |
