Marketing Scholarships
TO APPLY: We ask that you apply by submitting your resume and cover letter with the online scholarship application. The letter should outline your honors and achievements in academics, marketing courses taken and grade received, extra-curricular activities and marketing-related work/internship experiences. | George H. Bryden Memorial Scholarship - $500 | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; career interest in communications or advertising; second semester juniors or first semester seniors (during Spring of each year) are eligible |
| John R. Davidson Scholarship - $500 - $1000 | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; only current seniors eligible |
| Paul & Phyllis Duffie Book Scholarship - $150 | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.5 minimum GPA; career interest in professional selling; current juniors or seniors eligible |
| Fred & Eleanor Fether Marketing Scholarship - $800 | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; Greek members preferred; Bowling Green High School and Eastwood High School graduates preferred; current sophomores or juniors eligible |
| Gottron Marketing Scholarship - $500 | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; full-time student; 3.0 minimum GPA; demonstrated strong classroom participation, involvement in extracurricular activities and demonstrated leadership skills, preferably within marketing activities on campus; second semester sophomores, juniors and first semester seniors eligible (graduating seniors not eligible |

| Senior Marketing Student of the Year Award - $1500 | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; active involvement and leadership in extracurricular activities; current seniors eligible. |
| Service Marketing Institute Partnership Scholarship - $500 | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing: full-time student; GPA of 3.0 or above: only sophomores, juniors or seniors eligible. Preference given to internship experience in marketing or sales; involved in on- or off-campus business related organizations; and strong performance in marketing courses. |
| Service Marketing Institute Scholarship - $1,000 | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing: full-time student; GPA of 3.0 or above: only juniors or seniors eligible. Preference given to Marketing courses taken, strong performance in those courses; demonstrated “service minded” leadership to university and/or business communities; work/internship experience in service industry. |
Please note: Funds will be deposited in the student's Bursar account; if received by a graduating senior, the student must request a refund from the Bursar. The Marketing Department office sends letters to those students who have met the minimum qualifications based on GPA in February each year advising that they are eligible to apply.
