BGSU Professor Receives Top Honor for Research Article

Congratulations go to Dr. Man Zhang, assistant professor of management for her award-winning article that she co-authored. Her paper “Perceived Information Technology Capability of Born Global Firms and Traditional Exporters in China and the United States”, co-authored with Dr. Jingwen Lai, has been selected as one of two co-winners in the Irwin MBAA International Conference Theme competition.

Eleven formal organizations with over 700 active members make up MBAA International. These organizations represent a variety of disciplines, including accounting, economics, finance, health administration, human resources, information systems, insurance, international business, legal studies, management, marketing, operations management and entrepreneurship, and case studies. Dr. Zhang's paper was selected as the best paper from Academy of International Business-Midwest and was then submitted to the MBAA to compete against the best papers from each of the other MBAA member organizations.
