Student Travel Grants for Entrepreneurship Activities

Eligibility:
Currently enrolled BGSU students may submit a proposal, individually or as a member of a student group, for travel reimbursement for an offsite entrepreneurship student presentation or competition (business pitch, computer simulation, case, etc.) sponsored by an educational or professional organization. Travel grants are designed to support students' participation in presentations and competitions that will enhance their educational development, and are awarded at the discretion of the Director for the Dallas-Hamilton Center for Entrepreneurship.
Awards may be up to $250 for a single proposal. Awards may be given for mileage and/or lodging. Individual students are typically not eligible for more than $250 for multiple proposals for a given fiscal year. The application should be submitted prior to the event.
Application:
For consideration of a travel grant, students must submit the attached application and document specific details about the sponsored program and expenses to enable the Director to assess eligibility and determine funding. Based on the Director's evaluation and budget limitations, the Director may approve full, partial, or no funding. If a travel grant is approved, all expenditures must be documented by the appropriate receipts provided to BGSU’s Dallas-Hamilton Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation by the individual applicant within four weeks of the program. Also within four weeks of the presentation/competition, recipients of the travel grant must submit a 1-2 page report to the Director describing what was accomplished at the program. Receipt of a travel grant gives BGSU's Dallas-Hamilton Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation permission to publicize the recipient's name, picture (if available), and accomplishments at the program.
Questions, applications, and supporting documentation should be submitted to:
