THE PARTHENON
We may be attending a conference in Nashville, but for a few moments, you can be transported to ancient Greece via the world’s only full-scale reproduction of the Parthenon. This incredible site is located just across the street and a couple blocks down from our hotel, in Centennial Park, and features both the city’s art museum and Athena Parthenos, the tallest indoor sculpture in the Western World. The Parthenon is open Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm., so if you feel the need to take a brief break from paper presentations, you can wander over and let yourself be transported to the ancient world. Admission is $3.50/adults and $2.00/ seniors and children (4-17).
