Technical Topics

Following is a list of topics and vocabulary on technical topics helpful for today's business environment.  For the evaluations, the definitions provided by whatis.com will be used, or if whatis does not contain a definition, a definition will be provided on a handout.  The definitions on whatis will be the source of multiple choice questions on the exams; for long definitions, only the first 3 paragraphs will be tested.

1. Search Engine Operations

2.  Databases

     Database, relational database, table, fields, records, query, normalization

3.  E-Commerce
