Student Organizations

 

At Bowling Green State University there are over three hundred registered student organizations that provide great opportunities for students to GET INVOLVED.  Involvement in student organizations is a great way to get connected to the campus, build leadership skills, meet people, and to have fun.

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) - Alpha Upsilon Chapter

This organization is the most relevant to the students in the MAcc program.  BAP is an international honors organization for students of accounting and information systems and is highly regarded by the business community as a premier collegiate organization. BAP promotes career development through professional, community service, and social activities.  Students are encouraged to join this organization as it is a great platform for networking and socializing.

World Student Assosication (W.S.A.)

The purpose of the W.S.A. is to promote intercultural understanding and friendship among students from all over the world through cultural, educational, and social activities.

Graduate Student Senate (GSS)

The governing body for graduate students at Bowling Green State University.  It is committed to being an efficient and effective governance organization for its constituents. Graduate Student Senate works for and represents the 3000 graduate students at Bowling Green State University.  It serves as the chief advocate for graduate student needs and issues throughout the university. Additionally, we work for a higher quality experience for graduate students at BGSU, striving for improvements in every area, from support for graduate assistants to social and cultural engagement.

India Student Assosication (ISA)

The ISA is an organization for the empowerment and advancement of the mind and heart through cultural understanding, acceptance, and acknowledgement; a forum born where students of all cultural backgrounds and descents can gather to assist each other in what it means to be Indian, Hispanic, African, Chinese, Asian, and American in the 21st century. ISA aims to cultivate a spirit of unity and friendship among international students at BGSU.

Chinese Students and Scholars Assosicaion (CSSA)

Some of the Features of this website provide information to:

Future BGSU students and newcomers may get answers from the "Newcomer Guide" to such questions as how to get prepared, what to bring with them, and how to acculturate easily.

Those who are interested in China, Chinese language, and Chinese culture, "China Info" provides news about China, travel information, and different aspects of Chinese culture.
