Mike is President of Skycasters, a satellite-based Internet Service Provider headquartered in Akron, Ohio. Skycasters provides full time and backup Internet connections throughout North and Central America, all delivered via satellite.
Mike has been making his living with the Internet since before there was a World Wide Web. In 1993, he started his first Internet-based company, Multiverse, an Internet service provider located in Cleveland, Ohio. His company was the first in Northeast Ohio to offer Internet access and services to the business community. He sold that business in 1995 to join Meldrum & Fewsmith, then one of the largest advertising agencies between New York and Chicago. Mike established an Internet marketing division within M&F to create Internet marketing and electronic commerce strategies and sites for M&F's clients.
Mike left M&F in 1998 to become Director of E-Commerce for Applied Industrial Technologies, a $1.5 billion industrial distributor headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, and also served as Vice President of Electronic Commerce for Bowman Distribution, a $350 million industrial distributor headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2001, he purchased a motorcycle parts and distribution business and converted it from a brick and mortar operation into an e-commerce company. He sold that business in 2007 and joined Skycasters as Vice President of Marketing. He was named President in 2008.
Mike is a 1991 graduate of Bowling Green State University, and a 1993 graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Law. He is married with three cats.

Over the years, this “tri-alogue” has allowed for idea interchange among the three groups promoting discussion
of new curricula and teaching techniques, as well as the business interview,
hiring, and job expectations of both students and industry.
The
Council meets twice each academic year with faculty and, for many years,
has hosted Student Career Panels, which provide a forum for answering student
questions, offering candid advice, and beginning networking contacts.
Providing
guidance and expertise, the Council benefits both our students and our faculty.
