The New Venture Opportunity is designed to provide a positive environment for entrepreneurship among BGSU alumni and thereby contribute to the economic vitality of our communities worldwide. The program is open exclusively to BGSU alumni regardless of geographical location.

BGSU alumni with an entrepreneurial mindset and a new business concept will be encouraged to start a new venture. The New Venture Opportunity will provide advising, mentoring, and for some, funding for the start. BGSU will assume no liability for business starts.

The New Venture Opportunity is consistent with the goals of the BGSU Foundation of lifetime engagement, increasing donor contributions, and increased student enrollment.

Please note: All participants shall be required to sign confidentiality/non-compete agreements in order to protect intellectual property generated in the New Venture Opportunity process.
